The Nicole

She´s corny, crazy, a true diva! Everything you want!
The 11th of February 1984 in Alma- Ata of the Soviet Union,, Nicole Fuentes-Kalifatidis is born. Apart from being Russian, she has Greek and Spanish origins.

Since early childhood she showed her talent in music as at the age of 2, when she could hardly talk, she was already performing extracts from the Opera Carmen to her mothers’ professors of the music Academy. At the age of 3 she went to an art school in Russia where she started studying music, dance, painting etc. A year later she moved to Greece with her family where she grew up. From the age of 7 she started taking parts in ballet shows and at the age of 10 makes her first effort to get into the music showbiz by the music talent show Beo Beo in Spain but luck was not on her side as the show was cancelled.

At the age of 11 she writes and declares at the National Library of Athens her first novel called "Françoise Monnet" and by the age of 14 Nicole already speaks 6 languages fluently, plays the piano and takes ballet courses. After a while she feels ready again to try to get into the music business by sending a demo of 3 already popular songs to various British music labels but she is told that she needs a composer and a producer first. At the age of 17 she graduates the Greek college Geitonas and goes to France for her studies.

She starts off by law school as her parents wanted, but gets bored easily and decides to transfer to the theatre faculty where she graduates in theatre acting and directing. During her first year she plays the part of a French cortisan and then of Juliet in the play of William Shakespeare "Romeo and Juliet", directed by her professor and director Stephan Ramirez. A year later she plays Tatiana in the play of Poushkin "Evgeni Onegin" and Nastassia Phillipovna in "the idiot" of Dostoyevski. In 2003 she writes her new novel “2 drops of water” in 3 different languages at the same time and right after that she begins a new trilogy. The same year she meets the songwriter and producer Nick Terzis and records the album "give me your number". However this collaboration ends badly. Nicole gets disappointed and decides to make a new start on her own. She finds by accident on the internet the Swedish song writer and producer Marcus Black who was the key link to her publisher Peo Nylen. After that meeting it was only a matter of time for good things to happen..!. After the 1st year of going back and forth between Sweden and France, working with loads of different producers, thanks to Peo Nylen, Nicole meets her current producers, Stefan Åberg and Tord Backström. The team gets along immediately and from the very first day, in October 2006, they write their 1st song and the 1st single to be, “Shut Up”.
A year later, the team presents their 5 best songs to a number of record labels, and in October 2007, their collaboration with Lionheart International begins. Their song “Razborka” gets qualified for the Swedish “Melodifestivalen” and they are currently preparing the release of the song “Shut Up”.
